Welcome to my new Studio! This is where the magic happens.  My favorite toys include my 22" Cintiq and my sit/stand desk for those long days at work.

My first ever overseas publishing! The First Christmas Night will be sold by a Norwegian publisher this Christmas. I just got my first copies in!

Winner! Congratulations to “The Sparkle Box”, the 2014 Christian Book Award Winner for the finest in Christian Children’s Books! It’s such an honor to have my book included on the list!

Starting this summer, I will one of the newest members of the Class of 2016 at the Hartford Art School Low Residency MFA in Illustration! It is the only low residency MFA in the country that is dedicated exclusively to Illustration.

During this program I will have the opportunity to work closely with leading Illustrators from all over the country. Lead by renowned illustrator, Murray Tinkelman, we will travel everywhere including New York City, San Francisco, Pasadena, and even Dallas.

This will be a great opportunity for me to focus on writing and illustrating my own children's books.

The Sparkle Egg, my next Illustrated book, will be available Feb 1, 2014. 

Easter is coming, and Sam loves Easter! But this year, he is upset about a lie he told his parents. This touching story will strike a deep chord with readers of all ages, and the Sparkle Egg tradition will help readers and their families grasp the totality of God's perfect grace. Ages 4-8. 

Less then one week away!

Here is my latest commision I did this winter. It's been a long time since I've been able to do a traditional still life painting and I had so much fun trying to capture all the complex patterns and textures. I hope this painting enjoys its new home
